Today, houses are mostly built without basements, although in recent years there has been a renewed trend toward choosing local food products — grown in one’s own garden or purchased from local farms. However, storing all of this requires a cellar, which offers an important advantage: high-quality food, healthy vegetables and fruits that remain well preserved even during severe frosts.
The ECO-BUNKER is installed in just one day. It is partially buried in the ground to a depth of 1.8 meters and covered with a soil layer approximately 1.4 meters thick. This soil layer acts as an insulating barrier between fluctuating ambient temperatures and the nearly constant temperature of the ground, ensuring that the cellar does not overheat in summer and does not freeze in winter.
